FRIDAY NIGHT, LADIES NIGHT.
The Senior Women’s team took on Hillside Sharks, at home under the big candles of Boardman Reserve. In chilly conditions, the Kangas were able to keep Hillside goalless in the 1st quarter, going into the first break 15 points up. A goalless 2nd quarter for the Kangas, due to inaccurate kicking in front of goal, allowed the Sharks to get within 5 points at the halftime break. The yips in front of goal continued in the second half, with the Kangas kicking 2.7, while keeping Hillside to just 1 behind, and getting their second win on the board by 23 points.

Finally the EDFL Netball competition has started. The girls came up against Aberfeldie who came out firing, eclipsing both teams by 15 points.

U/19’s MISSED CHANCE COSTLY.
The young Kangas travelled down to Burnside, and travelled back empty handed. A close contest for most of the match, the Kangas went into the last quarter 3 points up, an again errant kicking in front of the big sticks has cost the boys their first win of the season. Burnside winners by 12 points.
