U/19’s LOSE TO DEMONS.
A dirty day for the Young Roos at Tullamarine losing by 40 points. In conditions that a duck would avoid, the Demons got off to a flyer, leading the Roos at the first change by 24. The Roos lifted in the 2nd, keeping Tullamarine goalless, but trailed at halftime by 3 goals. After the main break it was all Tullamarine, the Roos unable to keep up.

ROO’S 2’S SEAL GAME EARLY.
The 2’s early burst set up a hard fought 25 point win over East Sunbury. The wind and rain came from “right of screen”, and the Kangas took full advantage in the 1st quarter, kicking 6.3 and keeping East scoreless. After that it was a hard slog, The second term, Thunder kicked 2.2 and kept the Roos to a single point, still behind the Roos by 24 at half time. The Kangas kept East scoreless again in the 3rd taking a handy 37 point led into the last. The Kangas didn’t score in the last term, and are very lucky that the Thunder hit the post at least 4 times.

TIE CUFFE PLAYS 200th.
Tierone Cuffe played his 200th game for the Sunbury Kangaroos on Saturday, but who would’ve known. That’s twice in as many games that milestone matches have been missed by the committee. Shame on us guys. Anyhow the Roos battled hard against East Sunbury winning by 61 points. The Roo Boys got off to a good start leading the Thunder in to the quarter time break 22 up. East pegged the lead back in the 2nd and trailed by 12 points at half time. The Kangas got going in the 3rd quarter kicking 8.7 to open up a massive 55 point lead going into the last term. The Kangas would kick the only goal in the final quarter and take the Local Cup for the second time this season.
