Kanga News

Due to technical issues the Kanga News is a week behind, so lets catch up on what’s happened over he last couple of weeks.

Saturday 13th
U/19’s SINS COSTLY AGAINST SAINTS
The dew kickers were the only side flying the flag for the Roos, as the rest of the club had byes. The Young Roo Boys headed off to Mutton reserve to take on the Northern Saints and came away empty handed, going down by 11 points. The game was a close encounter, the Roos trailing by 11 points at the first break. The Roos kept the Saints goalless in the 2nd quarter and went into the rooms at half time 5 points up. The lads toiled hard to keep the game close going into the final change 4 points down. With the final quarter coming to an end, it looked like the Roos had the win in the bag, but bad discipline had the umpire take the ball off the Roos and award the Saints a free kick in front of goal. Loose lips sink ships boys.
