LADY ROOS TRIUMPHANT IN WET
For the last time this season the Chinese Lanterns were illuminated at Boardman No.3 for the Lady Roos final home and away match against Westmeadows. The Roo Girls stamped their authority on the match from the first bounce, restricting the Tigresses to a solitary point, running out winners by 72 points. The win consolidated 3rd spot on the ladder for the Senior Women’s side, giving them a double chance in the finals race. Alex Quigley finished the season on top of the EDFL Women’s Premier Division Goal Kicking, with 36 goals from 5 games with the Roos. Congratulations Alex. Next up for the Lady Roos is Keilor in the Qualifying Final. The 2 teams came together in round 1 with Keilor winning by 7 points, lets hope the result can go our way this time round. C’mon you Roos Girls!

U/19’s KEEP DEVILS AT ARMS LENGTH
the Dew Kickers moved into the Reserves time slot for their encounter against Keilor Park. The Young Roos kept the Devils scoreless in the 1st quarter going to the first break 20 points up. A sluggish second quarter for the Roos, only kicking 2 points, but holding a 15 point lead at Half time. After the main break the Roos moved up a gear and kick 4.7 to Keilor Parks 1.1 and lead at change by 37 points. The Devils did their best to reign in the Young Roos, but the lads managed to hold them off and run out winners by 26 points. Great win boys.

SENOIR MEN HAVE A BLOW OUT ON KEILOR PARK DRV
That’s right folks call the RACV as it was a blow out. After 2 weeks with no football the Roo Boys finally got out on the paddock and cruised to a 285 point win over Keilor Park. The one they call Latch had a day out bagging 10 majors, with Streiffy and the Spoonman kicking 6 each. Not much else can be said here about this game. Well done boys.

NETBALL

KANGAS BLUE
The Div. 1 girls had their colours lowered again this week, losing to Craigieburn by 21 goals. After starting strong the Blues were over run by the Eagles and ending their season outside of the top 4. Keep your heads up girls as this is just the building block for next season.

KANGAS WHITE
The Div. 2 girls had to face up against top of the table Taylors Lake. The Whites had to win to secure a finals berth, and that’s just what they did. Not by a small margin either, thumping the topside by 11 goals. A tremendous effort by the girls and bets of luck in the first final against Craigieburn. You can do it!
Best on – THE WHOLE TEAM
