WHITE ROOS LOSE DIV. 2 ELIMINATION FINAL
Our netball girls can hold their heads high, making finals for the first time in a long time. Sunbury Kangas White came up against Craigieburn at APS, but unfortunately went down by 4 goals. A slow start to the Kangas saw the Eagles take an early 4 goal lead before the White Roos fought back to end the first quarter in front. The Roos and Eagles traded goals in the second term, both teams level at the main break. The Kangas got the jitters in the third quarter, costly turnovers giving Craigieburn a 6 point lead going into the last. The White Roos did their best to reel in the deficit before Craigieburn ran out winners. To make the finals in your first outing in a new competition is outstanding. The foundations have now been laid to comeback next season bigger and better. Well done girls, you gave it your all.

LADY ROOS DOWN BUT NOT OUT.
The Senior Women played the Qualifying Final against Keilor at Ormond Park. The 2 sides came together in round 1, with Keilor victors on that occasion, and again on this occasion. A low scoring 1st Quarter saw the Blues kick the only goal for the term, leading by 5 points at the first change. For the next 2 quarters it was all Keilor, keeping the Lady Roos to a single point while taking a 37 point lead into the final term. The Kangas finally fired up in the last kicking 5 goals to 2, but Keilor were good enough to keep the Roos at bay and win by 19. Not all is lost though, having the double chance the Senior Women come up against Hillside this weekend. Come on girls you can do it. Imagine, Dream, Believe.

YOUNG ROO BOYS BEAT BEAR CUBS
The Dew Kickers turned in a polished performance against Burnside Heights, handing them a 90 point defeat. It was 4 quarters of disciplined football with the Young Roos never giving Burnside a sniff. Leading at every change the lads showed what they are capable of when they work hard on the field. Well done boys.

ROO’s 2’s BREEZE PAST BEARS
The world famous Roo’s 2’s put on a clinic as they took apart Burnside Heights by 104 points. A regulation 1st quarter had the Roos 13 points ahead at the change, before blasting Burnside off the park with 6 unanswered goals and extending the lead to 43 by half time. By the end of the 3rd quarter the game was all but over, with the Roo’s 2’s leading by 52. The lads kicked another 9 goals in the last to drive home the win, leaving the Bears to lick their wounds. Well done to Corey Woolley, booting 9 goals and just missing out on BOG.

ROO BOYS UNFAZED BY FAST STARTING BEARS.
Burnside Heights came to The Pouch to try and knock over the Roo Boys, and at least for the first quarter it was game on. The Bears, missing their goal kicking super star Covelli, put the Roos under the hammer taking a 10 point lead at quarter time. But the Roos didn’t panic and stuck to their guns, kicking 6 goals to 2 and ending the half 18 points up. In the second half, the Bears went into hibernation as the Roo Boys kicked 14 goals to 2, and ran the game out comfortable winners by 96 points.
