LIONS POUNCE ON ROO’S 2’s

The Roo’s 2’s suffered their second defeat in as many games this time to Taylors Lakes. The first quarter was an arm wrestle with neither side able to kick away, Roos 1 point up at the break.
Taylors lakes kicked 4.5 to the Kangas 2.3 in the second term, leaving the 2’s 13 points down at the half time bell. A mouthful from Maxy in the sheds had the Roos fired up for the third quarter. The Roo’s dominated the quarter, and could’ve and should’ve been in front, but errant kicking in front of the big sticks cost them dearly. Taylors Lakes up 19 points at quarters end.
The last quarter saw Taylors Lakes do enough to keep the Roos at bay, kicking 3.4 to 2.2 and running out winners by 26 points.
